Most memorable "paranormal" EXPERIENCE:

Rufford Abbey & Castle Rising – The former happened when on a particularly quiet night, however at approximately 3.00am myself and Darren (equipment specialist) clearly heard a horse directly outside the main exit door that seemed in great distress,. We could hear a noise like hooves banging on the stone floor and a very loud “neighing” sound. This lasted for approximately 1 minute before abruptly stopping. However what makes this event unusual is that horses are not allowed in the country park, there are no horses within a few miles of the abbey and the many PIR motion sensors we had placed around the frater and abbey did not activate. We both immediately investigated all possible causes for this strange phenomena and we could find no rational explanation even though we both clearly heard the horse outside the door. – Conclusion Unknown.

The latter (Castle Rising) happened on my first visit to Castle Rising in 2002. This particular event occurred whilst the full team sat inside the vestibule room. At approximately 2.30am the entire team heard what sounded like people in the great hall having a conversation, this was immediately followed by loud footsteps walking up the main stairs towards our position – the vestibule room. At this point I asked for a full security check as I thought we had intruders on-site. Myself, Darren, Mike and Dave proceeded to check the castle and grounds. It soon became apparent that we did not have intruders on-site (the door was locked and our PIR security system had not activated). Also, while checking the castle we found that a trigger object has somehow moved on its own accord!

Conclusion - Unknown

To this day we still cannot find a rational explanation for the above events

Hobbies Outside the Paranormal World.

I’m a Martial Art chief instructor and hold a 4th Dan (black belt) in the Japanese martial art of Ju-jitsu. - The fighting art of the Samurai warrior. (Bunkai Combat Goshin-ryu Ju-jitsu Association).

Football- I’m a Sheffield United / Blades season ticket holder. I also follow my son in junior football league games. (he is a top striker)!!
