Orbs & light anomilies

WHAT ARE ORBS?

Whenever you open a door, enter a room or move around you inadvertently stir up dust.

These particles in the air will reflect the light of the camera flash and appear to be orbs. This also applies to moister and insects and is the most commonly caught light anomaly captured on film.

Another cause for orbs to appear is when a photograph is taken close to bright lights; by angles of light and by certain type of artificial lighting. Also when coloured orbs are photographed it is mainly due to what light refractions are present at the time of the shot.

Sometimes orbs can appear to be different shapes including triangles, diamonds, hexagonal or have a flat edge again this is easily explainable with a little research into cameras.

It is all down to shutter speeds, flash and the number of leaves in the aperture.

If the aperture or shutter so much as stick for an instant of if the flash doesn't start soon enough before the shutter opens or even stops too slow, it will only have an impact on the shape of these orbs being photographed making them appear truncated whilst un effecting the rest of the picture.

Other orb anomalies occasionally photographed are the plasma energy orbs which are believed to be caused by the sudden ionisation of the atmosphere and have been linked to ball lightening. They are said to be more easily found in areas high in electromagnetic fields

Other theories include that an orb is in fact a ghost/spirit in basic energy form or the early stages of a ghost manifestation, others say that it is the soul or life force of those past over.

A more popular belief by paranormal investigators is that the orb is simply the energy being transferred from a source i.e. heat, people batteries, electrical items etc to the ghost/spirit to manifest itself, and it is true that energy transference like that would take on the shape of an orb.

So how do we tell the genuine orbs from the false ones?

Well false orbs tend to be very pale or transparent and have a flat appearance they also tend to contain a sort of nucleus and elongation around the central core towards its edges which are called diffraction rings, and are a common characteristic of minute particles like dust.

Genuine orbs tend to be quite bright as if giving off there own light, they appear more three dimensional and their edges are usually a little fuzzy giving an impression of vibration or movement.

Sometimes they will have contrails when recorded in motion, and seam to display an intelligent fight pattern, making very sharp twists and turns and moving through objects, and are the ones which are of most interest to paranormal investigators.

Another point of view:

From what we've learned from the photographs and input from a wide various of other sources: The orbs consist of a complex energy structure of millions of elements. The orbs in our study become photographable only when exposed to a large number of photons, such as from a camera flash, OR when they have collected a larger density of free electrons around their outer mantle. The light is absorbed by the electrons, which then release new photons (light) when the electron energy level reverts to normal. That's why they appear two dimensional instead of three dimensional as a solid sphere should looks when light is reflected back from it.

One theory as to why orbs are photographable, is called fluorescence, which is normally only associated with minerals. However green photons from a light source i.e. from a camera flash, are absorbed by the orbs electrons which move to a higher energy orbit. When the electrons return to their original orbit, new photons (red) are released at a slightly lower frequency. This apparent release occurs slowly in minerals but within microseconds with the orbs. This process is called photoluminescence.

As the light from the flash goes through the orbs, each of the layers shown by the vertical lines will generate its own photons. The flash to shutter timing speed, as well as "fully opened" aperture is critical, as this will establish which areas of the orbs' light will be recorded when their own light is instantly radiated back to the camera

The orbs seem to be able to move electrons in their outer mantle to a concentrated location, which forces some electrons to leave. With regard to mass, they have only a minute amount of weight and inertia, so that is enough to propel them very rapidly in any direction. The ejected electrons will release photons in the process. This rapid action can be recorded by camera equipment, but cannot "generally" be seen by the naked eye

Because the orbs have electrons moving around in their mantle, they release wide spectrum electromagnetic radiation that can be detected. (via most EMF meters and NID`s) They are otherwise undetectable by us, as they do not have an odour or make sounds (although experiments are underway in the Netherlands with equipment which seems to pick up sounds which correlate with electron activity).

One of the puzzles is why the orbs develop in the first place and why they develop a prominent outer ring structures, when energy vacancies seem to be "filled" and the orbs turn a more solid looking light colour--generally more white.

Conclusion

We know “orb's exist and that they can be photographed. Although we still do not fully understand how & why they form in the first place. However it has been established that the “orb's” seem to display an unusual amount of electro magnetic force (EMF) & Negative ions (NID) that has in many past paranormal investigations been recorded and registered with many different types of EMF meters & NID`s. It has also been established in some past case's the “orbs” seem to be able to “manipulate” the earths natural EMF causing unusual fluctuations in the earths magnetic field. Again this unusual phenomenon has also been registered with electronic measuring equipment.

In our conclusion, Ngrit-uk and other paranormal investigators believe that possible 'spirit / ghost' energies (an intelligence) is the main cause and reason for these “orbs” to form and then be photographed. We believe this is achieved either by the “spirit / ghost” utilizing or draining a persons / observer's natural energy and / or they maybe able to manipulate the earths natural electro magnetic field, thus causing the fluctuations seen with our EMF meters and creating a plasma orb seen in our photographs. However this is only a theory put forward by Ngrit-uk and many other well respected, established Paranormal Investigators & scientific research groups. This theory is supported through the process of intensive research & investigation utilising scientific, calibrated equipment.

Any phenomenon captured on photographs by Ngrit-uk are scrutinised & examined in photographic laboratories. It is established that any other possible conclusions are eliminated i.e., atmospheric conditions, light sources, naturally accruing airborne particles etc.

There are other theories regarding “orb” phenomenon, however Ngrit-uk can only advise the viewer about their findings / conclusions relating to paranormal investigation and show their photos to allow the observer to make up their own mind. Ngrit-uk and other paranormal researchers agree that these “orbs” seem only to appear when “unusual” / possible paranormal activity is displayed in an “alleged” haunted site

However this is only a theory and the true origin of the 'orbs' are still unknown!!
