Ngrit-UK - Policy

NGRIT-UK will provide a free service, to any private parties, person(s) and/or organisation(s). For example English heritage, local & regional councils, owners and caretakers to historical sites and other related institutes, whom may require, help, advise or publicity with related paranormal phenomenon, hauntings and ghosts to private property owners whom may require, help and/or advise.

All correspondence between Ngrit-UK private parties, person(s) and/or organisation(s) will be fully confidential unless otherwise discussed and agreed by all concerned. After all investigations/vigils, (if requested) a report will be drawn-up by N.g.r.i.t.-uk and made available to the designated person(s) at the site under investigation.
 
If required and after agreement and/or instruction from the said organisation, positive publicity relating to the Ngrit-uk investigation/vigil may be forwarded to the local press and/or other press related organisations such as magazines and related internet sites. On special request a local press reporter may be invited to join the NGRIT-UK team on said organised investigations.

NGRIT-UK members without the acknowledgement and agreement of the site owner/ caretaker will make no information about any investigation/vigil public. Therefore NGRIT-UK WILL NOT be held responsible for any adverse publicity relating to the investigation/vigil after agreement and instruction has been given by the owner(s) and/or person(s) responsible for that site, in any relation to the investigation/vigil held at that site.

All NGRIT-UK members and any observer related to NGRIT-UK will take full responsibility for their own health and safety in accordance with strict health and safety polices adopted by NGRIT-UK, whilst conducting any onsite investigation/vigil. In addition to NGRIT-UK own health and safety polices all team members and any observer(s) will adhere to all inherent onsite health & safety polices. All NGRIT-UK members and any observer(s) related to NGRIT-UK will be fully informed of all onsite risk assessment plans, with all hazards and risks identified and explained. In addition to the identification of all known onsite hazards and risks, where practicable all necessary training and control measures will be adopted to mitigate any such hazards.

NGRIT-UK, its members, any observer or guest/s joining NGRIT-UK on any Paranormal Investigation, including ghost tours will be covered by NGRIT-UK through a recognised and current insurance policy, inclusive of public liability cover of no less then £5,000,000

All members and related NGRIT-UK observers will not hold any person(s), private parties and/or organisation(s) responsible for any self induced accidents and if asked to do so will sign a disclaimer prior to any investigation.
All NGRIT-UK members and related observers will be informed of this NGRIT-UK accident policy prior to any investigation/vigil.

All NGRIT-UK members and related observers, will at all times respect and adhere to any rules that have been agreed between NGRIT-UK and any private parties, person(s) and organisations responsible for the site and whom have agreed to a NGRIT-UK investigation/vigil.
 
NGRIT-UK employs a comprehensive and strict Health and Safety policy for all members and volunteers, which encompasses a strict NO SMOKING and NO LITTER policy.
