Methodology & Aims
METHODOLOGY
As the reader will appreciate, trying to detect paranormal activity is difficult. Sceptics will often dismiss out of hand eyewitness reports, even if the experience has really happened. It is the policy of the group to attempt to catch paranormal activity on tape recording or film and to report in writing, that which has been physically experienced during the investigation.
The team will use different equipment such as negative ion detectors, Electro-magnetic sensors, Digital Laser thermometers Night vision Video camcorders, Infrared night scopes and trigger objects located in various parts of the site to help detect any unusual activity.
AIMS
The aim of any NGRIT-UK investigation is to determine whether or not paranormal activity actually exists at the site in question. (Even if it is not widely reported to have ‘ghostly’ activity).
During the investigation, Ngrit-uk will try to determine what, if any level of activity exists, and if so, to try and establish what form, why and how it exhibits itself.
If paranormal activity is detected, in what format would it manifest itself i.e. visual, audio, or monitored via an array of scientific equipment. In addition, could weather conditions, times or dates exert any influence upon the activities.
