Outside Ngrit-UK:

Being part of the NGRIT-UK tech team & equipment specialist, what spare time i have, i enjoy researching new technology and equipment for the team. I'm always on the lookout for something new that may aid us in our investigations.

However i also enjoy online gaming, watching movies, diy and when i get the opportunity scuba diving.

Most memorable "paranormal" investigation:

I would have to say that it had to be my first investigation at Castle Rising in Norfolk as this is was the one that transformed me from a hardened sceptic to believing that there was actually something of intelligence out there that we are yet to understand.

What happened was we were already about halfway into an active investigation when I went to check on one of our trigger objects with a colleague, This was in the form of a crucifix laid on a piece of paper and drawn around with a pen and was placed in the kings private chapel.

We checked the object and everything was as it should of been and we then proceeded to walk away along a narrow passage, As we reached the end i realised that i had not left a voice recorder as i had intended so we turned around and went back, To our amazement we found that the cross had been moved and was now stood upright, This was after no more then 30 seconds after i had previously checked it and there was no other way to reach the object except past me.

Most memorable "paranormal" Experience:

This would have to be at Rufford Abbey. What happened was i was on my own in the under croft setting up equipment prior to the investigation, I removed from my case three small cassette tapes and a battery for my camcorder and walked across the room and placed them flat on top of each other in an alcove and went back for my camcorder.

I then decided to use some small wooden blocks as a trigger object. NB: The team have experienced other objects move on previous investigations, also the staff at Rufford abbey have apparently seen a ghost of a small boy running around the restaurant and undercroft, hence the reason why I decided to use toy wooden blocks. However before I set-up the blocks I grabbed my camcorder and tripod and walked back to where had had left my tapes and battery, I was surprised to find that the tapes had all been moved and was now stacked in a manner which was exactly the same as i would normally set up the toy wooden blocks - in the shape of a tower.

This was an excellent example of a theory that spirits/ghosts can pre empty our thoughts without a person having to say a word.
