1. The NGRIT team has enjoyed a well-earned break over the past couple of months - except for a couple of very interesting investigations at Newark Castle. Now, with the nights starting to draw in, we are ready and raring to go.
It is going to be a busy few months for NGRIT. The team will once again return to its regular sites of Newark Castle, Newark Palace Theatre, Rufford Abbey and an abbey in North Yorkshire. We will also be returning to Castle Rising, Norfolk, recently featured on the television series Ghosthunters International, next month.
In addition to our regular locations, NGRIT has secured at least one new site over the summer – a fantastic historic building with a colourful history. We are looking forward to carrying out many investigations there, starting this month.
With new equipment to try and experiments in mind, it promises to be an interesting winter.
The team has lined up a few public tours. We are planning a Halloween talk and tour at Newark Castle on Saturday, October 30. There is also the rare chance to see evidence gathered at Rufford with two tours and talks on December 21 and February 19. NB: We (NGRIT-UK) give our time for free and all money from these tours goes to the venues as our thanks for thier continued support with our investigations.
New site 2 Victorian School: The NGRIT-UK team were asked to investigate a school in Harrogate after the staff had noticed ‘unusual’ occurrences after they locked up for the night to find when they unlocked in the morning doors opened that had been shut, objects moved from one room to another and a strange uneasy feeling in certain rooms and corridors. However, these strange events did not restrict themselves to the night hours when the school was locked and empty. The staff have also noticed strange 'things' around the school during daylight hours, these include dark shapes moving from one room to another and disembodied voices in empty classrooms.
After hearing about all these strange events at the school The NGRIT-UK team went to investigate and look for a rational explanation for these strange events. However, after spending the night at the school the team came away with more questions than answers......During the investigation the NGRIT-UK team recorded strange lights (orbs) moving through corridors & rooms, unusual EMF activity and doors closing and opening on there own! The NGRIT team are looking forward to their return visit.
